Coller IP Management has been appointed to run an important new 2-year programme for energy companies throughout Scotland.
As part of the Intellectual Asset Centre’s new sectoral focus, Coller IP Management will be providing direct support to energy companies who wish to identify, protect and commercialise their intellectual capital. With a particular focus on the renewable energy market,
Coller IP Management and the Intellectual Asset Centre have been working with companies ideally set up to support the development of renewable energy schemes in and around Orkney, Shetland and the Pentland Firth.
Significant intellectual property was identified during a recent series of Workshops and audits held with 9 companies based in Orkney, Jackie Maguire, CEO Coller IP Management said “ I was impressed by the depth of skills, know how and technical development from the companies that we have worked with in Orkney”.
Companies taking part in the programme included: Aquatera, Scotrenewables, Opus Plus, Pentland Power, CESS, EMEC and ICIT.
