Coller IP Management is pleased to be appointed to provide services on behalf of the Intellectual Assets Centre throughout Scotland. The IAC is the first publicly funded centre set up in Scotland and indeed in Europe to assist businesses in deriving value from their IA. The Centre was developed in response to demand from businesses. Initial studies showed that, despite the number of businesses asking for advice, there were still many more that were not aware of the value of their IA. The hidden potential in Scottish companies was judged to be worth several billion pounds.
Coller IP Management has been appointed for a period of 3-4 years to help Scottish Companies to protect, manage and commercialise their assets. Working in all the IAC’s areas: Highlands and Islands, North East (Grampian &Tayside), Borders and Dumfries and Galloway, East of Scotland and West of Scotland, Coller IP Management will be providing advice to a range of businesses and organizations on a one-to-one basis and in support of larger workshops and events. Jackie Maguire, CEO commented “We are delighted to have won this contract with the highest quality marking and to be appointed as the only non-Scottish advisors”.
