In May, The UK Intellectual Property Office hosted a one day event entitled, "Developing the 'IP toolkit" for enterprising innovators and inventors in London where Jackie Maguire presented a keynote address illustrating the value of IP to entrepreneurial engineers. Key themes of this successful event included intellectual property issues in engineering, science and technology, developing entrepreneurial skills, and developing strategic IP management expertise.
